Zoning Resolution [Regulations]
The Resolution made by the Board of Hinckley Township Trustees on August 10, 1962 states:
The Township of Hinckley, under the authority of Chapter 519 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio, resolves as follows:
A Resolution providing for zoning of Hinckley Township by regulating the location, size, height, and use of buildings and structures, the area and dimensions of lots and yards, and the use of lands and for such purposes dividing the township into zones of districts of such number, sizes and shape as are deemed best suited to carry out said purposes, providing a method of administration, and prescribing penalties and proceedings for the administration and enforcement of this Resolution.
Whereas, the Board of Trustees of Hinckley Township deems it in the interest of the public health, safety, morals, comfort and general welfare of said township and its residents to establish a general plan of zoning for the incorporated area of said township. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of Hinckley Township.” (This document is signed by three Trustees and the Township Clerk and contained in the rear of the present zoning book.)
Copies of the Zoning Resolution may be purchased in the Zoning Department of the Administration Office for a fee of $15.00. A fee of $20.00 is required before sending a copy of the resolution by mail. Copies of the Comprehensive Plan (Master Policy Plan) are also available for purchase for $10.00. An additional fee of $5.00 will be charged for mailing the Comprehensive Plan. Copies of these books are also available for public viewing in the Zoning Department Offices.
