Tom was born and raised in Parma, OH where he lived with his wife Shari, and children, Andrew and Allison, until 1999 when they moved to Broadview Hts. where Tom was active in the MacIntosh Farms HOA. They bought property in Hinckley in 2012 and built their forever home. Tom and Shari recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. Tom is passionate about his family and loves spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Tom has spent his entire career in manufacturing holding a variety of positions, starting as a Machinist and ultimately Company President. He has worked for small privately owned businesses. He was an Owner/Partner of a 20-person company and has been President of $100M+ publicly traded company responsible for hundreds of teammates in the US and Canada.
He has served as an alternate to Hinckley’s BZA for two terms. He was a key member of the Comprehensive Plan Audit Committee in 2022. He has been a volunteer for Hinckley Buzzard Day and most recently the Hinckley Bicentennial celebration. He contributed to previous year’s Touch a Truck events.
Tom has earned dozens of Professional certificates in areas like Leadership, Team Building, Communication, Human Resources and other technical disciplines. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Hiram College and a master’s degree in international business from Baldwin Wallace College.
