Community Garden
Fillable Community Garden Application
Hinckley Township accepts applications for the Hinckley Township Community Garden in the early spring for the year’s planting season. The application process is an annual process and is on a first come first serve basis. You must be a township resident to apply. The Community Garden has 14 raised garden plots and is located between the Fire Station and Service Garage off of Ridge Road. Please download the Fillable Community Garden Application and contact the Township Administrator at 330.278.4181 for more information.

Township Rental Agreement – updated 2024
Hinckley Township has many areas which are available to be reserved by township residents for private functions, community group meetings, and other similar purposes. These areas include Brongers’ Park and certain rooms within the Township’s Administrative Building (Town Hall Meeting Room, Board Room, Senior Room and the Old Fire Station bay area [for a more informal and open setting]). Download and fill out the form to make a reservation and contact the Township Administration Building at 330.278.4181 to confirm available dates. You must submit the completed agreement and payment in person at the Administration Office located at 1410 Ridge Road.

Residential Lock Box Application
The Hinckley Fire Department Community Benefit Fund, Inc. has residential lock boxes available to Hinckley Township residents. The secure storage units allow the occupant of a residential unit to place entry keys in a safe place for quick access by Fire and EMS responders.

Gun Lock Program
The Hinckley Township Police Department provides free gun locks. Visit the Hinckley Police Department Monday-Friday, 8 AM-4 PM to request.
Vacation House Checks
Vacation Watch Form
When away from your residence for vacation or any length of time, members of the police department will check the outside security of your residence during their routine shifts. Please contact the Hinckley Police Department at 330-278-7161.

Open Records Policy: Hinckley Township has adopted an open records policy, and public records may be requested using the Fillable Public Records Request Form or it can be printed and filled out manually and brought in to the administrative offices during normal business hours.
Driveway Culvert and Ditch Maintenance Policy: The Service Department has recently published a driveway culvert and ditch maintenance policy.
Open Burn Policy:  Hinckley Township has updated the Open Burn Policy in accordance to requirements outlined in both the Ohio Fire Code and Ohio Environmental Protection Agency.
