Hinckley Township is a blend of residential, agricultural and commercial areas that pose serious challenges to our Fire and Emergency Service providers.  In order to be adequately prepared to handle the various types of emergencies encountered, the Department has spent many hours evaluating the resources and training required for the response to these serious events.

The Hinckley Fire Department has 30 members on it’s staffing roster. We staff 2 members around the clock with additional manpower responding from home as needed. We are in a rural setting that covers 25 sq. miles of area in the NorthEast corner of Medina count, 25 miles South of Cleveland.
