Informational Meeting - October 19 @ 6:30pm @ Hinckley Twp Town Hall - Hinckley Township recently completed their Comprehensive Plan audit. Many of our residents expressed the desire to preserve land in Hinckley. The movement to "Keep Hinckley Rural" is abundant and Trustee Augustine wanted to do her due diligence to share land preservation options with our residents.

Cemetery Rules and Regulations Updated

Changes were made to the Cemetery Rules and Regulations effective July 1, 2019. Click on Community Tab and Go to Cemeteries for more details. A friendly reminder that items that are prohibited must be removed in accordance to the Rules and Regulations. This is to respectfully notice that in mid-June, the Service Dept. & Sexton will walk the cemetery grounds & begin removing items that are prohibited or have become overgrown. 

Seeking Support to Assist in Grant Writing for Fire Department

Chief Grossenbaugh and Fire Liaison, Melissa Augustine are currently looking for volunteers within the community who specialize in grant writing to assist Hinckley Fire Department in attaining grant funds. Specifically, identifying grants available to fire departments at the state and federal levels, and sharing in the document preparation for such grants. If interested, please contact Ms. Augustine at [email protected] or 330-421-8266 by February 28, 2020.

TRANSIENT VENDOR RESOLUTION (72516-08) EFFECTIVE 8/30/2016

The Hinckley Township Trustees amended the Transient Vendor Requirements and adopted such requirements by Resolution (72516-08) Effective August 30, 2016.  To view the Transient Vendor Resolution click on the attachment within this article.  For interested parties, a notice of "No Soliciting" may be posted. (Refer to item #8 within the Transient Vendor Resolution.)  To obtain a "No Solicting" Notice, click on the attachment within this article.  Questions may be directed to the Hinckley Police Department by calling 330-278-7161.
