TRANSIENT VENDOR RESOLUTION (72516-08) EFFECTIVE 8/30/2016

The Hinckley Township Trustees amended the Transient Vendor Requirements and adopted such requirements by Resolution (72516-08) Effective August 30, 2016.  To view the Transient Vendor Resolution click on the attachment within this article.  For interested parties, a notice of "No Soliciting" may be posted. (Refer to item #8 within the Transient Vendor Resolution.)  To obtain a "No Solicting" Notice, click on the attachment within this article.  Questions may be directed to the Hinckley Police Department by calling 330-278-7161.

Recycle In Hinckley

Recycle bins are located on the northwest corner of Twp Administration Parking lot. Visit http://www.recyclemedinacounty.com for more information. Click here for a list of Recyclable Materials that are accepted by Kimble Recycling and Disposal. Bins will be emptied Tuesday and Friday each week.

Waterline Petition

Unscheduled Visits by Vendors

Recently a company representative selling medical supplies visited churches and businesses in the Hinckley Community advising those present that their Automatic External Defibrillators (AED) were out of date and required servicing and supplies.  In followup with some of the businesses, the Fire Department found that the devices were working properly and the supplies were not out of date.  Please be cautious when dealing with any vendors who appear at your location without a scheduled appointment.

Hinckley Fire Department - Potential Change to Insurance Rates

We are pleased to announce that we have just received notification from the Insurance Services Office stating that our Fire Protection Classification has changed. In the past, those areas with hydrants were rated at a Class 6 and those areas without water were a Class 9 which is the lowest rating possible.
