Seeking Support to Assist in Grant Writing for Fire Department

Chief Grossenbaugh and Fire Liaison, Melissa Augustine are currently looking for volunteers within the community who specialize in grant writing to assist Hinckley Fire Department in attaining grant funds. Specifically, identifying grants available to fire departments at the state and federal levels, and sharing in the document preparation for such grants. Trustee Public Hearing Feb 4, 2020

The Township Trustees will hold a public hearing to hear public comment on Feb 4, 2020 at 6:00pm re Text Amendment proposal for Chapter 4: 4.2 Agricultural Use and Chapter 10: 10.4 - Signs Exempt from Regulations. See attachment within this article for more details.

2020 Deer Management Program

Cleveland Metroparks will continue a deer management program to begin Jan 21 thru Mar 19. A portion of Hinckley Reservation will be closed on several days. See letter attached for more details.

Emergency Snow Removal Program

Now accepting applications for the 2019-2020 Season beginning October 1st for Hinckley Township seniors and those who qualify for the program. This program is supported by the Hinckley Fire Department Community Benefit Fund, Inc. See attachments within this article for more information.

Survey Results for Solid Waste & Recycling Services

Go to the attachments within this article for the results of the survey regarding the Solid Waste & Recycling Services.  At the Regular Trustee meeting held on Tuesday, August 20, 2019, based on overall community sentiment and concerns the Township Trustees voted to proceed with a single-hauler contract.  Kimball Recycle and Disposal has been selected.

Cemetery Rules and Regulations Updated

Changes were made to the Cemetery Rules and Regulations effective July 1, 2019. Click on Community Tab and Go to Cemeteries for more details.

Community Garden for Hinckley Twp Residents

Located between the Fire Station and Service Garage (Ridge Road), the fenced Community Garden offers fourteen 8 x 8 raised beds and are available by registration (first come first serve). Complete attached application and drop off at the Township Administration Office - a garden plot will be assigned at that time.
